Quentin Young, a professional truck driver of Handley (Fort Worth), Texas went to be with Jesus Christ on Saturday April 4th, 2020 at the age of 67 years old.
Quentin is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years Tammie Young, sister-in-law Cheri Averitte of Lake Worth, uncle Bobby Joe Young of Hurst, brothers Richard Young of Fort Worth and Robert Young of Cleburne, Texas, son Andrew Young of Fort Worth, cherished granddaughter Emma Young also of Fort Worth as well as numerous friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his parents Willard and Margaret Young of Handley, Texas.
Quentin was an avid football fan especially the Dallas Cowboys, he enjoyed classic rock as well as muscle cars in his earlier years. He loved spending time with friends and family especially his granddaughter Emma. He enjoyed attending church at Northpointe Baptist Church. Quentin highly respected Texas Karate Legend, Richard Morris and took immense pride that his son Andrew became a student of his. He was also grateful for very close friends Alan Copeland and Keith McEowen.
Due to the current situation with COVID-19, there will be a memorial service scheduled at a later date.
