Patsy Eidson Online memorials and obituary

Patsy Jean Eidson, 74, of Anderson, SC, went to heaven on December 21, 2020.  She was born in Clinton, SC on August 28, 1946 to Robert and Lillie Dalton.  Although her family mourns her passing, they are comforted in knowing she is with her beloved Lord and Savior who she loved with all her heart.  Before Alzheimer’s took her memory, Patsy would not miss a day studying the bible and praying for friends, family, and even strangers.  Although she beat cancer twice and at the age of 65 earned a certification in Theology,  Patsy would consider parenting her children as her greatest life accomplishment.  She would not hesitate to tell everyone she did not miss a single ball game of her sons.  Her second greatest accomplishment was becoming “Granny” to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Patsy was affectionately known by all as “Granny Pat.”  She epitomized everything it meant to be a doting, loving grandmother.

She was survived by her children Robert Hill and his wife Monique, Patrick Eidson, Kathy Phillips and her husband William, and Curtis Eidson and his wife Cindy; and grandchildren Gabriella Hill, Mia Hill, Joshua Eidson and wife Shelly, Jeremy Eidson, John Wesley Phillips, and Miranda Phillips.  Patsy is survived by her brother Jimmy Dalton of Jacksonville, FL.  She was preceded in death by her husband Captain Bob Eidson and siblings Robert Dalton Jr., Roger Dalton, Chuck Dalton, Johnny Dalton, Ann Chambers, Jeannette Sadler, Louise Cannon, and Sybil Cage.
