Melba Jean Lester
Jean was born on October 4th, 1942 in Many, LA and died at her home in DeBerry, TX late November 2020. Her ashes were scattered where her husband, Dennis, was laid to rest.
She was preceded in death by her parents Hugh Perry Fulgium and Melba Markham Fulgium; her first husband, Robert William Jacobson; her second husband Dennis Ray Lester; her son, Robert W. (Bobby) Jacobson; and her daughter, Connie Jacobson Caraway; her siblings Bobby Fulgium, Myrtle Jones, and Lela McCain.
She is survived by her son, Jeremy Lester; her step-son James (Danny) Lester; grandchildren Jennifer Jacobson McChesney, Ashley Jacobson, Klaudia Lester Thomas, and Phillip Lester; great grandchildren Trey Molnar; Makayla Molnar, Aubrey Molnar, and Kaycie Thomas; daughter-in-law Kathrien Bryant; and her friends.
Jean was a woman of tenacious spirit, worked hard, and loved much. She always had a listening ear and a helping hand for friends and family. She retired from Bell South in Shreveport, LA, and enjoyed her retirement.
