Jesus “Jesse” Esparza Franco Sr. of Longview, TX left this world on November 18, 2020 at the age of 81 in the city of Fort Worth, TX. Jesse battled with serious medical issues in the recent years and faced every challenge with courage and strength until the very end. Jesse was born on October 19, 1939 to Carlota Esparza and Pablo Franco in Marfa, TX and spent his childhood in El Paso, TX. He married and had three sons, Jesse Jr., Jason, and Jeremy. As a single father, Jesse took great pride in raising his three boys and shared with them his love of country dancing, music, fishing, 4-wheeling in the desert and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Above all, Jesse loved being surrounded by his friends and family and strived to make a difference wherever he was. From delivering babies on the side of the road to saving another resident’s life in a rehab facility, Jesse’s life was about service and family. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Estella and Irene. He is survived by his brother David and his sons, Jesse Jr., Jason, and Jeremy. Jesse was a proud grandfather to Anthony, Elliott, Justin, Simeon, Jessika and Mia and great grandfather to Isabella and Vincent. He had numerous loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our brother, father, grandfather, and friend, but with great love and respect that he will be forever remembered
A date for a Celebration of Life and scattering of ashes is yet to be determined. Information will be shared with close family/friends regarding these arrangements at a later date.
