Jason Andrew Postert was born to Jon and Laura Postert on August 14, 1982, in Dallas Texas. On February 15, 2024, Jason passed away at the age of 41.

He is preceded in death by his Grand Parents; Henry Postert, Alicia Adams, Stanley and Katherine Garrett, his father; Jon Postert and Uncles; Shane Postert, Stanley (Butch) Garrett, Mark Garrett, and Andrew Garrett. Jason leaves behind his 3 sons’; Jordan, Ashton, and Tristan Postert; His mother Laura Postert; His sibling Joshua Postert; His Uncle’s Henry Postert, Max Schaefer, David Garrett; His Aunt Elizabeth Smith, Aunt Diana McKnelly; and numerous cousins, as well as many friends.

Jason was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and close friend to many. He grew up and lived in Arlington, TX. Jason had a work history in the Logistics Industry; including warehouse, forklift driver, delivery driver, and shipping/receiving. Jason had also worked in various construction positions. He also was able to lose some of his fear of heights when he was invited by his son’s other grandfather Adon Contreras to help him hang advertising canvases on billboards, some of which were 80 ft. high. Jason also had an affection for classic vehicles, especially OBS trucks, a passion he shared with his father and brother. An excitement that he has passed on to all 3 of his sons. He also loved music in which he loved to sing-along with. He cherished watching and playing football with his sons & his son’s friends. He loved to go fishing & camping and could hardly wait for spring or early summer to get here to be able to try to go fishing/camping again.

3:00AM Thoughts

I cried when you passed away,
I still cry today.
Although I loved you dearly, I couldn’t make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, Hardworking hands at rest.
God broke my heart to prove to me he only takes the best.

Keep this rose going for anyone in heaven that you’ve
Loved and lost and keep in your heart.

Serenity Prayer
God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change.
The Courage to change the things I can, and
The Wisdom to know the difference.
