James Ray Barker

James Ray Barker,45, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2020 at his home in Azle, Texas. He was born on August 22, 1974 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Jim and Mary Barker. James graduated from Burleson High School in 1992. Following his graduation, he attended Texas State and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. James Barker was a one of a kind guy who lived his life to the fullest. He loved spending time with family and friends, traveling and watching sports. James Barker was proceeded in death by his parents, Jim and Mary Barker. He was survived by sons, Pierce Barker, Mason Horne and his fiancé, Hunter Hicks; daughter, Olivia McCaughey; brothers, Mike Lucas and wife, Terri King, Wes Barker, and wife, Kendy Barker; Sisters; Missy Barker and  Cindi Swiney; nieces, Heather Ahrens, Holly Ahrens, Nikki Green; nephews, Brady Lucas, Tejay Green, Wes Barker Jr and Carson Barker. James Barker was a dedicated and loving father, brother, uncle and friend and we will miss him dearly.
