Harry Erle Rawlins, III

Harry Erle Rawlins III (75), passed away April 29, 2021 after a lengthy but peaceful illness. Erle was born in Charleston, SC September 17, 1945 to Virginia and Erle Rawlins, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Katherine Ballard Rawlins. He is Survived by his 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Children: Kathryn (Russell) Treece of Dallas, TX, Harry Erle Rawlins IV of Dubuqe, IA, Victoria Sweet (Shane Dove), Stoney Rawlins of Fayetteville, AR, and Barrett Feltus (Robert) of Little Rock, AR. Grandchildren: Tanner Sweet, Nash Feltus, and Hadley Feltus. His Sister, Suzi (Walter) Weaver and her 3 children, Gretchen, Hudson and Natalie. Along with a plethora of friends and family.

Erle had been a realtor for over 50 years. He owned Buyer’s Resource of Dallas and Erle Rawlins Real Estate Consultants with his wife Mary Katherine. In his early Real Estate career he was a partner with his father of Erle Rawlins, Jr. Realtors of Dallas. 

Erle was a unique character and to know him was to love him. We all will forever remember his quirky brain teasers and loving surprise gifts. He truly had a heart of gold and treasured all his friendships.

He will be buried in Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster, TX that was founded by Roderick Rawlins, his Great, Great, Great Grandfather. A Memorial service will be at a later date.
