Joe passed away in Lewisville, Texas, on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020, at the age of 51. He was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma, on January 7th, 1969, to Sid and Jeanette Worden. He grew up on the family farm in Ninnekah, where he attended school and graduated from Ninnekah High School in 1987. He then went on to the University of Oklahoma and later to Oklahoma State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management. He loved interacting with people, and this degree allowed him the opportunity to do that and to live anywhere he wished. After college, he lived in Tulsa, Duncan, Chicago, and finally settled in Dallas, Texas, where he lived for almost 20 years.
Joe loved to travel and has friends all over the world. Some of his favorite international trips were to the Canary Islands, Italy, Australia, Germany, & Mexico. Joe had a deep appreciation for art and visited art museums worldwide. He was generous with his words of encouragement. His favorite poem was "Our Deepest Fear" by Marianne Williamson. She encourages people to let their light shine and reminds everyone that they are a child of God.
